To be Christian is to be Christ-like.
To be Christ-like is to walk as Christ walked, meaning that your daily life should glorify the Lord.
If anything should interfere with the obedience of the call of God on your life,
then you are not in the place to be calling yourself a Christian.
Distractions will come and go - but you choose to be obedient or not.
There is no neutral ground with God.
Either you are for Him or against Him.
So, if the things you do in your daily walk don't glorify His name, then what are they glorifying?
What could you love more than the Lord? Sex? Drugs? Your friends? Your partner?
I warn you as your friend, that if you are particpating in things
of the world or hanging with the wrong crowd
and they are not edifying your walk with Christ,
do you really need these things or people in your life?
I'm not trying to offend anyone, but who are you living for?
A bad tree does not bear good fruit and vice versa, a good tree does
not bear bad fruit, and that being said, what kind of fruit do you bear?
The word of God says: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine keeper.
Every branch in Me that does not produce fruit He removes,
and prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit..." (John 15:1)
Do not fear condemnation, or the way the world will look at you - or if they will hate you.
God says: "If the world hates you, understand it hated Me before it hated you.
If you were of the World, the world would love [you as] its own.
However, because your are not of the world, but /I have chosen you
out of it, the world hates you.
Remember the word I spoke to you: ' A slave is not greater than his master.'
If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.
If they kept My word, they will also keep yours.
But they will do all these things to you on account
of My name, because they don't know the One who sent Me.
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin.
Now they have no excuse for their sin, the one who hates
Me also hates My Father.
If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not have sin.
Now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
But [this happened] so that the statement written in their law might be fulfilled:
'They hated me for no reason.' " (John 15:18-25)

Accountability - Wow! So many people are so caught up in this word and what it represents, that they forget what it actually means. Churches base their doctrines on this word. Preachers and teachers, in order to be "ordained," base their calling on this word. So what's the deal about accountability? Why is what it stands for and its meaning so misunderstood? Well, let's take a look at the word itself...
Accountability - Willingness to take responsibility for action and outcome, delivering what you promised to deliver, accepting good and bad outcomes, owning up to shortcomings/mistakes and taking responsibilities for ones actions, honoring obligations expectations and requirements. (taken from Professional Engineers Ontario Core Values www.peo.on.ca/governance/corevalues.pdf)
Accountability - The state of being accountable; liability to be called on to render an account; the obligation to bear the consequences for failure to perform as expected; accountableness. «The awful idea of accountability.» R. Hall. (taken from websters dictionary http://www.answers.com/topic/accountability?cat=biz-fin)
Now, the two definitions above do not represent two different words but they represent two different sets of standards or ideas. One represents a political order of something while the other represents characteristical order (morals, values).
Why did you choose to show us both definitions, sister Monica? Well, I did this because there is always two sides to everything - good/evil, big/little, judgement/mercy. How can we have one without the other? How could we have obtained the goodness and the mercy of Christ, without the agony and pain of the blood that was shed, and what He accomplished on the cross?
We can't. The point I'm getting to is this - accountability is more than just rendering an account to someone, it is ALSO the willingness to take resonsibility. The word says it like this; "Those who are willing and obedient will eat the good of the land." Not just willing, not just obedient but both.
We have to start to put our "church" ideas about accountability to the side and start seeking God for revelation and truth. For too long, many of chosen have been put down and made obedient to rules and regultations when their calling is so much greater than any man can understand or control. We have heard too many times to count that "You have to have a covering." And that you "must be subject to authority."
This idea in the present day church stemmed from the flood of new believers in the early church. So many people were being saved and yet, like everyone who comes to Christ, they still carried baggage from the past. Those who converted from Gnostic to Christianity in the early church is a perfect example of why order needed to be established, so that new believers could be trained in sound doctrine under the annointing of the Holy Spirit. Those who converted from this practice believed that cleansing took place by sexual relations between the men and women. For this reason Paul urges Timothy to have the women "sit quiet and cover their heads in church."
There is so much history in the early church, and they faced so many new things and ideas, that they had to have a logial means to establish that order for those new to the faith.
What exactly does this mean to us today? This means that four walls are to be a learning center for baby Christians - where they can be discipled and trained in the way of the Lord and so that they can build their faith - "for faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God." Then, comes time for the babies to start walking - exercising their faith.... "faith without works is dead." They come to the point where they realise who they are in Christ Jesus and who he is in them. After that comes time to walk in power and demonstration - "for the kingdom of God is not in talk but in power."
It's time to get back to the basics people - the "church" was never intended to become stagnant. Sunday's and Wednesday's, holiday's and new year's. We can no longer build the four walls - it's time to build the kingdom. "For whom he has called, he has also predestined..." He has predestined you take His Word to the nations, He has ordained you as a prophet unto the nations, He has called you according to His purpose! HE has called you - not man. Now it is up to you to be willing and obedient to the Holy Spirit because of the calling on your life.
In essence, accountability is a willingness accept responsibility, a willingness to deliver what you promise, a willingness to render an account to the One who has called you. When you come to point in your walk when you know who you are in Christ and who He is in you - order and accountability changes from that of the Pastor to the Master. Maturity brings another level of obedience. Are you ready for this? I know I am - Because I AM the CHURCH! Hallelujah!
Take your time to chew!

How can we operate in the kingdom of God with out knowing the plans of God ?
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, to prosper you not to harm you, to give you a future and Hope....
Today in society parents and family are already speaking curses into there children so when they come to Christ broken, depressed, sick and tired of living the holy spirit brakes those curses and the word of God renews the mind. We our to encouraged the new souls in God's kingdom that jesus has a plan and a purpose that before they were even born God knew there pupose.
Jeremiah 1:5 says he set us apart from the world and ordained us a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah questioned and said but lord I'm only a child. God rebuked him and said "do not say you are a child and annointed his lips.Basicly encouraged his child you can do it son "I will never leave you nor foresake you".
When a father or a Mother encourage there children it impacts there life forever. That's why I'm still here because my heavenly father said son you can do it."Praise be to God"
Remeber That Jesus is Lord and were not, without him we are nothing so Praise him always and remember were not here for nothing God has plans don't ruin them lol . God bless!!! Rene Herrera preOrdained ministries
